The Homelessness Advisory Group at the Kitchener Downtown Community Health Centre invites you to join us for the 9th Annual Kindred Spirit BBQ! Please join us on Thursday, May 9th at Civic Square, Kitchener City Hall, for:
- 5:30 pm – Free Public BBQ and live music
- 6:00 pm – Moment of Silence to show solidarity and express our concern about homelessness as a community, AND guest dignitaries speaking about what their level of government is doing to address homelessness in the community
- 6:20 pm – Kindred Spirit Award Ceremony – Recognizing people with lived experience who are assisting others in the community. Nominees and award winner(s) are recognized at the event. This award program is coordinated by KDCHC in partnership with YWCA, R.O.O.F., and Ray of Hope.
