Based on the overwhelming support and feedback of the Seniors Chair Yoga program that ran from September to December, Wayside and Emmanuel will be running a 16 week winter session starting Wednesday January 14th. Class check-in starts at 10:15am so that yoga can start at 10:30am. There will be a time for refreshments and visiting at the end of each class. Sign-up for the entire session or just drop-in as you are able. Jayne Hembruff will again lead this class, promoting improved balance, strength, flexibility and breathing. Chair yoga is also a great way to help prevent fall-related injuries, one of the biggest challenges for seniors living independently. This program is open to anyone in the community so please get the word out or bring a friend!
